As a child growing up during the 1980's in the beautiful coastal town of Santa Cruz, Ca., my life was very simple and happy. The ocean was within earshot, and the mild breeze cooled the endless summer days. I was raised by my father, Simon T. Dangzalan, a Brother Knight of Columbus, and my mother, Caroline, in a traditional Filipino, Catholic Family home. All the while, my extended family resided just 10 miles north in the small town of Davenport, Ca.

My father's vigor and my mother's care has always been instilled in me, and the determination to achieve my highest goals along with the ability to balance out my life with the gifts of this world has been the way I've continued to live. I began my higher education career at Cabrillo College in Aptos, Ca. and graduated with an A.A. degree in Fine Arts. With a passion for Design, I continued on to San Jose State University, San Jose, Ca. and found my way into the Illustration program. Graduating with a B.S. degree in Design and Illustration, I received a Cum Laude medal of honor for my efforts.I entered the design world with dynamism, and during the following years, I designed retail packaging for worldwide distribution, print collateral for corporate and consumer use, created videos for television broadcast, and lead fantastic marketing campaigns for products in the electronic toy industry. I also retain two U.S. design patents for the invention of the iKTV Video Karaoke Entertainment Station and Microphone.

I reside in San Jose, Ca. thoroughly enjoying time spent with my spunky Dalmatian, Mina, and my goofy pitbull, Rocky. I have an intense passion for motorcycle riding, SuperMoto and Dirt Trail Riding in particular, and I frequent the twisty mountain roads and various racetracks in California.

My current work with the Knights is a blessing and a gift. I finally get my opportunity to carry the torch of a concept I deeply believe in. I could think of nothing better than to help my fellow brother protect his loved ones, all while supporting The Knights of Columbus, who shares my faith in God and my belief in charity for all humanity.
